Tim has extensive experience in the entire manufacturing and mineral processing information systems project life cycle. This includes business, user and functional requirements definition, feasibility studies and estimates, functional design, system detail design, system configuration & development, testing, system commissioning and ongoing system support. He also has expertise in development of system project methodologies & standards, as well as standardized templates for project deliverables.
Tim possesses a unique ability to understand minute details while simultaneously seeing the big picture. His wide breadth of hands-on experience is invaluable in helping businesses connect the dots between manufacturing and business requirements in a logical, consistent and meaningful deliverable.
Tim joined Zinata in 2013 and is responsible for managing both the Zinata Standards Framework and Zinata Quality Management System.
His focus is on enabling project teams to work effectively and efficiently together, with clear role assignments, delivering projects on time, on budget and according to sound methodologies.
The scope of projects he manages include process control systems, batch control systems, data historians, energy management information systems, advanced control systems, manufacturing execution systems, production information systems, production portal applications, custom applications, system integration, ERP integration, commercial IT, communications and IT infrastructure, integration of process control systems through to manufacturing execution systems, business application software and support contracts, both remote and on-site.
